     Finish: 9:30am

About the Workshop

We now live in the Information Age; where data and information is increasing exponentially due to significant advances in technology. This information can be of great value and it is important that it is secured and safeguarded to avoid misuse, loss in value, corruption, and so on. It is now well recognised that one of the weakest links in the information security chain are employees themselves. Tackling this issue, starts with awareness and knowledge building activities but ultimately, must address employee behaviour to truly embed a culture of information security into an organisation.

This talk will touch on some of the current information security trends, threats and risks and highlight the impacts on business and our daily lives. The briefing will focus on the human side of the information security chain and in particular addressing knowledge and behaviours.
