In Ireland we also operate a number of National Support Programmes including the EPA CoP for Large Water Users.

The EPA Community of Practice for Large Water Users comprises Irish-based firms along with key national stakeholders and development agencies involved in environmental/water management and sustainability. The initiative focuses on addressing water management needs and challenges at large industry sites and on collaborative development of specialised water management tools and techniques for such facilities based on lean principles and international best practice. The Community of Practice initiative was established in December 2013 with support from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the STRIVE Programme: 2013 Green Enterprise Call.

Quarterly Meetings attended by members focus on the sharing of best practice, peer to peer discussions, case studies and engagement with national water stakeholder across a series of thematic areas.
